Caterlink completed an exciting project at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, replacing their old system with a with a robust and reliable Meiko dishwashing solution.

We supplied and installed the Meiko flight machine along with essential components, including a discharge roller table, stripping and sorting conveyor, lifting magnet, tray stacker, basket sorting station, and a stainless steel canopy for steam extraction.

This advanced Meiko system is perfectly suited to the hospital’s busy environment, which accommodates 600 beds and approximately 5,000 staff. The system can complete an entire wash cycle in just a couple of hours. Featuring German-engineered design, it includes a heat recovery system that pre-heats water, reducing energy costs. Additionally, the Upster B model comes with a cost-saving pre-rinse feature that reduces detergent usage by up to 80%.

Our Caterlink team provided a complete and comprehensive service—consultation, design, equipment supply, and installation—ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of this project.
