For over 50 years, Caterlink has been a trusted part of Australia’s commercial kitchen industry, helping businesses run kitchens that simply work.

Founded in 1976, Caterlink is still family-owned, now spanning three generations, and has grown into a national business with showrooms in Perth and Melbourne. Reaching the 50-year milestone reflects the people behind the business, including long-term staff, trusted suppliers and customers who have worked with us for many years. Many of these relationships have grown over time through being consistent, approachable and doing things properly.
We work with all types of commercial kitchens, including cafés, restaurants, bars, healthcare and aged care facilities, as well as larger commercial projects. With showrooms in Perth and Melbourne, we supply equipment, design kitchens and deliver fit-outs based on how kitchens actually operate day to day, where timing, workflow and reliability need to come together.
OUR JOURNEY
The milestones that built Caterlink
1976
Company founded
Business founded by Tony Cousins on Lord Street, East Perth, offering commercial kitchen projects and a retail showroom.
1980s
Second generation
The second generation of family ownership entered the business.
1984
New ownership
Acquired by Chrystal & Co.
1985
Major project
Delivered the Burswood Resort and Casino project, the largest in Western Australia at the time.
1987
Expansion
Relocated to 4 Hutton Street, Osborne Park, expanding into a full facility with offices, warehouse, showroom, and sheet metal workshop.
2000s
Third generation
2003
Moved to Howe St, Osborne Park.
2004
In-house equipment rental program established.
2015
Completed Perth Stadium Project.
2018
First office in Melbourne.
2020
Became Australia’s first carbon-neutral certified commercial kitchen supplier.
2025
Geelong Exhibition and Convention Centre project in Melbourne.
2026
50 years and beyond
Celebrated 50 years built on long-term relationships.
