Caterlink partnered with William Angliss Institute to deliver two commercial training kitchens designed to support hands-on hospitality education. Located on Level 3 of the facility, the kitchens were developed to replicate real commercial kitchen environments where students can learn, practise and build confidence using industry-grade equipment.

The project included a range of preparation, cooking and refrigeration areas across both kitchens, with multiple individual student cooking stations throughout the space. Each station was fitted with its own dedicated canopy system, allowing students to operate independently while maintaining proper ventilation and safety standards.

The installation also included several sustainable solutions, such as induction cooking technology and advanced water treatment systems, supporting the institute’s commitment to modern and efficient kitchen operations.

Despite tight project timelines and challenging site access due to limited lift capacity, Caterlink coordinated the delivery and installation of all equipment to ensure the kitchens were completed within the required timeframe.

This project required careful planning due to the location of the kitchens on Level 3 and the limited lift access available on site. Through close coordination with the builder and project partners, Caterlink successfully managed the delivery and installation of equipment within the construction schedule.

The completed kitchens now provide William Angliss Institute students with a professional training environment that reflects real commercial kitchen operations.
