Caterlink Planting Trees In The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor
Last year, SKOPE Refrigeration ran a special campaign where they planted a tree for every eco-friendly model sold from 1 February to 30 April 2021. Caterlink made a promise to plant FIVE trees for every sold Skope refrigeration unit during that period!
The good news is that Caterlink’s customers purchased 165 Skope fridges, which increased our contribution up to 825 trees! Thanks to everyone who supported the promotion and chose environmentally friendly refrigeration from Skope.
825 trees were planted during this rainy season in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in WA, courtesy of Carbon Neutral.
Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor is the largest biodiverse reforestation carbon sink in Australia. The project began in 2008, and since then, more than 30 million mixed native species of trees and shrubs have been planted across almost 14,000 hectares. In 2022, the project has expanded to nearly 18,000 hectares.
The primary objective of the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor project is to sequester and store carbon for 100 years.
