Little Pope café conveniently located in Terminal 1 at Melbourne airport, is a convenient grab-and-go venue, offering a wide selection of delicious snacks, pastries, sandwiches, coffee, drinks, and light meals. Ideal for a much-needed coffee or quick bite to eat before boarding, or a satisfying light meal or drink after landing, look no further than this cute café.

Caterlink expertly managed the high-security challenges to plan and execute the work required to complete the project. Taking approximately eight weeks to complete, Little Pope café was the fourth fit- out Caterlink undertook in Terminal 1, after being contracted to complete similar projects at three other venues in the Terminal.

Unique project features and equipment used:

  • Simply Stainless: cost-effective modular benches to fit seamlessly throughout the bar/preparation area.
  • Cossiga: food display grab-and-go cabinet; the ideal solution for an airport environment.
  • Moffat: Merrychef ConneX12 High-Speed Oven – this smart kitchen equipment has functions ranging from toasting and grilling to reheating. It’s touchscreen interface and programmable cutting-edge technology ensure consistent, high-quality results in record time!
  • Washtech: dishwashing unit with Watermark and Smart Watermark certification. With low hot water consumption of 1.5 litres per cycle, it can clean up to 1000 glasses per hour.
  • Williams Refrigeration: updated, eco-friendly R290 refrigerant offers outstanding performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Environmentally responsible, Williams Refrigeration is committed to supplying the most energy efficient and sustainable commercial refrigeration on the market and Washtech’s high performance dishwashers with Planet Technology maximise efficiency, reduce operating costs and environmental impact. Cossiga consciously reduces the amount of cardboard used to package their equipment, with innovative packaging that converts into a ramp to assist in equipment removal from the box.
