Chefs Club strikes again!

This time, Caterlink upped the stakes and welcomed over 150 guests to an exclusive dinner held at the Skyview lounge at Optus Stadium here in Perth. Our first Chefs Club event with such huge numbers, and definitely not our last!

The cocktail style menu showcased delicious pork from Linley Valley Pork and a superb steak selection from Top Cuts Blackwood Valley Beef, all of which was paired perfectly with an assortment of Dave Mullen wines.

It was a night of wild success. Venues Live team provided sensational service to guests and thanks to the generous support from City of Perth we were able to amplify our charitable reach and facilitate mutually beneficial networking on a large scale.

As anyone who has attended our previous Chefs Club events knows, we’re a community above all else; dedicated to promoting strong comradery and networking among chefs, hospitality professionals and industry leaders, who all share one common passion – extraordinary food and wine!

Chefs Club aims to develop a promising impact on the industry for future generations, so naturally we partnered with the City of Perth to bring four Junior Chefs (Mark Johnson of Ku De Ta, Nattawat Thienqdee of Crown Perth, Maverick Cuthbert of Wildflower and Braydon Davies formally of Clarks of North Beach) on behalf of the Jeunes Chefs Rotisseurs Competition to our event last night.

Who better to have in attendance than these Junior Chefs that are developing the next generation of fine cuisine in our industry as we speak.

Entering into its 41st year, this competition offers a platform for Junior Chefs to showcase their talent and creativity on a world stage.

Caterlink’s Adrian Tobin, the mastermind behind Chefs Club, is slotted to mentor the four WA finalists into regional competition and then continue advising the winner through to the national finals held in Melbourne on February 17th, 2018.

Most Junior Chefs struggle to find the time to foster relationships with industry veterans due to their long and demanding work hours. Through our combined effort with City of Perth, we wanted to provide Junior Chefs with the opportunity to connect with these professionals so they can continue to shape the hospitality landscape as we know it.

And this is what Chefs Club is all about.
